How To Pay For an Active Search
Please use this Facility to pay for your Active Search. This payment system is operated by UK People Finder in conjunction with SecPay, a British Company based in Tonbridge Kent, and is approved by HSBC Bank. In the unlikely event of any complaint please address your query to UK People Finder. If you are not satisfied you can make a complaint to SecPay and/or HSBC Bank. Details are given on our Customer Service page. In addition to the automatic acknowledgment which the payment system will give you, you should also receive acknowledgement within 24 hours from our office that your payment has been received, and that your search is in hand.
UK People Finder and SecPay guarantee that we will never
- Pass on your financial details
- Pass on any personal information
- Sell or rent your details
- You will never receive junk mail as a result of using this service
- Leave invasive technologies such as cookies on your machine
- Exploit your details in any way
- Retain your credit card number, which is in any case encrypted and not revealed to UK People Finder by the system.
Refunds
Our initial charge of £100.00 is no refundable. The remaining £100 or £200 (as applicable) is chargeable when the successful result has been determined. Clients will be required to make this payment, before the results are disclosed.
Replacement
Because this is a service and no tangible goods are involved the issue of replacement does not arise.
Cancellation
This service begins and could potentially be completed, by agreement, before the end of standard cooling off periods (7 working days). If cancellation of the search takes place after the £100 payment has been received, no refund will be available. If cancellation takes place after 7 days, Heirtrace reserve the right to charge the client for the work that has been conducted in addition to the £100. This would not exceed £200 and instructions to cancel must be received in writing.
