UK People Finder Testimonials
On this page we have tried to show the genuine and factual appreciation of the UK People Finder service. We have many more such testimonials in our offices; often expressing surprise at how effective the service has been in finding relatives and friends in a way previously thought impossible. It is particularly noticeable that in so many cases reunions are really happy events. After the passage of time family problems of the past are forgotten in the joy of re-establishment of blood ties and natural family relationships.
Cross Continent Family Reunion

I would be grateful if you could pass on my sincere thanks to those that were involved in this search (including yourself of course!). Finding out the information that I have, has been of great benefit to me. Throughout the search process, your company has been prompt, professional, and helpful at every turn. Id imagine you all spend a lot of time in front of a computer, looking at names on a database. But for those people behind the names, the work you do means everything.
So thanks again, and I hope you all have a good Christmas / New Year.
Thank you so much Derek
I cant thank you enough for what you have done for me.
This is a fantastic site and i will be recomending you to other freinds and family. But just one more thing did carol confirm that it was here in the telephone conversation and how will i find out if she has email address.
I cant believe how stress free it was and will let you know how it goes
thank you once again

I am delighted to report that I have received a phone call from Carol this morning, and she would like to be in touch with you.
She is quietly spoken, and did not say much, but she would definitely like you to write to her. The address in the letter is correct.
I send my personal best wishes for a long and happy relationship with your birth mother.

Another Success on Free Message Match
Received 8th December, 2006.
I cannot remember if my husband got in touch with you about the results that we hasd from your site. Wasnt sure that it ws the same site as you have updated it, only realised it was when say original message that had been posted on 16/04/2004 message number2400. It was from Edwina saying taht she was looking for her sister and had put a message with you. To cut a long story short my husband phoned you to say it might be me exchanged details was given an adress so wrote a quick note to it, they contacted you we replied for while through your site. Then gave edwina some details that i knew ie mothers name etc, it turned out that when she asked her mum details matched and that she had found me her sister. The only detail that she had to go on was my name and date of birth which she posted on your website. Which we stumbled on by chance 2yrs later, once edwina was sure it was me which took about2 weeks she phoned me as i had said that that was ok by me as left number husbands mob, she left message then progressed to her having my home number. Was strange speaking to your sister that i had no idea i had, had bee looking on and off for about 20yrs. no luck with norcap and when social services applied to see my case notes they were refused and when only file that they did find was empty. So without your site wouldnt have found sister or her me as she only had my name and place of birth.Havent meet yet but have been filled in that have 2 sisters, 1 brother and mother still alive.Hope to meet one day. Would like to say thank you very much as without your site would never have known, and always felt that something was missing, as always wondered what the connection was with sheffield which turns out is where most of the family come from. Once again thank you very much.

A Life Changing Experience
I am so pleased to tell you that thanks to your help I spoke to my father for the first time in my life on Monday. He has always wanted this to happen too and is overjoyed. I have spoken to my sister and brother and my father is travelling to see me here in Somerset on Sunday.
I know that this would not have been possible without your help.
I cannot thank you enough for the work you have done for me.
From the bottom of my heart a huge thank you.
I cannot put into words how happy I am.

Thanks for your email. I dont have any other info on this lady other than what I have given you - do you think it will be difficult to find her or basically impossible??

I am delighted to inform you that Cyril has called in by phone. He has been away for some time, and has only just picked up the letter.
He would like to be in touch with you, and told me that he last saw you when you were only a few months old. You can write to him if you wish, and the address is correct, or you can phone him, and he will be expecting your call. He will be out this evening, so it is probably best tomorrow (Saturday).
I hope all goes well, and I wish you a very happy reunion with your natural father.
Pleased to have found UK People Finder
From South Africa
Thank you for your prompt response. I feel so relieved to have found ukpeoplefinder I only wish I had found it earlier. I have found those do it yourself search sites misleading and a waste of time and money. I dont have a credit card of my own but Im sure one of my friends will be happy to oblige me. I will do my best to get payment done before the 15th. Quoting 4303-OS as the ref no. I greatly look forward to commencing the search.
Thank you so much for all you have done to find Joyce. I almost cant believe its true and am so excited and apprehensive about making contact and being with her, even though its from the opposite side of the world. Its like a dream come true
Bless you and thanks so much for your wonderful service.

Another Success for Message Match
Hi, Derek. My name is Sophia. We spoke on the phone like over a year ago regarding me living in Sweden and wanting to find my birth father and family who live in London. Well, I left my message on the Message Match a year ago(and did not expect an answer . . .), and I got a match recently from my FATHER. At first I did not believe it was him, I thought it was a cruel joke. I cried for hours and hours. He left me his phone number so I thought Iíd call and see if it is really him. IT WAS HIM. He cried and we spoke on the phone for the first time in my LIFE.
I have since then met him TWICE. And I have even met my SIBLINGS who I have never seen before in my life and never knew existed. Iíve even met UNCLES, AUNTS and GRANPARENTS, who I have never met before.
Your work is very much appreciated. My dad thanks you from the bottom of his heart. We all thank you for your work. For your website. For reuniting us.
I am forever grateful of your work. I want you to know that your website has helped me so much. You wonít believe how grateful and blessed I am.

Kind Comments from the USA.
Wow, what a discovery you have made! I am so very happy and thankful for your expertise and kindness in locating the record of my half-brotherís birth and present location. You are a gem. God bless you!
I will do as you say and will keep you informed of my progress step by step. I apologize for not contacting you after you sent me an email. I am currently visiting my family in Iowa and travelled on the Wednesday . . . only to have my flight cancelled and a 6 hour wait in Chicago. Today is the first day I have checked my email . . sorry.
I will set about writing a letter to Frederick soon and was very happy with your ability to locate him, Derek. My sister cried as I read your email here at her home. You have made us very happy indeed!
I will keep in touch and let you know of my findings. If I need assistance with this, would it be okay to contact you?
Mother and Son Reunited after 70 Years
Mr. T. of Birmingham promised his wife before she died that he would try to find news of his birth mother, as he was adopted in 1929. His loving adoptive parents had also passed away. UK People Finder searched national records, and ascertained his mothers name at birth. Using demographic study, a list of addresses of possible family members was compiled, and two had recollections which led to Mr. Ts mother. She was of a great age in a Nursing Home in the Midlands. Fortunately she was well in mind and body, and able to enjoy a quiet reunion with her son, all the more moving because she had tried very hard to keep him, eventually impossible in the conditions of 1929, and he was the only child she ever had.
